Did you capture the beauty of the shapes, patterns,
texture and natural symmetry of the rock pool creature you observed?
Yes.
How?
I took
a photo of it and looked at that to draw my patterns. I put some shapes like
circles and spikes on it.
Was it hard for you to transfer the patterns from
your observational drawing to your batik?
No.
It was easy to paint and put the wax on because it was dripping out of the wood
thing that looks like a whistle.
